Holistic Well Child and Acute Care

Discovery Wellness offers in-office well child visits from birth to 25 years of age as well as newborn house call visits. By taking the time to understand each child as a whole, Dr. Brooks works to provide holistic, integrative, and preventative care that sets children up for optimal wellness. As your pediatric practitioner, Dr. Brooks will provide a safe space to listen to your concerns, provide holistic treatment options, and utilize natural remedies when appropriate. She is all about having open conversations with her patients and their parents in order to foster a trusting environment and to aid parents in making informed, educated decisions for their child.

Details:

Newborn visits must take place between days 3-5 of life, these can be performed in-office or in the patient’s home. If newborn screening (heel prick) is needed with a home birth baby, the visit must take place within the first 48 hours of life. We will travel up to 1.5 hours around the Cumming/Alpharetta area.
